What is a Crew Van Lease?
A crew van is a van which has an extra row of cab seats added. They are sometimes called a double cab van, as there are two rows of cab seats, which looks like there are two cabs.
What is a crew van?
Crew vans are often chosen by those who want to carry both people and materials, or equipment. One way of looking at it is that a minibus is full of seats, whereas a van has one row of seats with lots of space for equipment. For example, you may well have seen an electrician’s van with the back doors open and inside you will see lots of tools, wires and all sorts of electrical equipment. A minibus has rows of seats for between 9 to 17 people. A crew van is a compromise between the two, with space for more people than a van, but less than a minibus. And a crew van has more space for equipment than a minibus but less than a van.
What is a lease?
A lease is the most common way of funding a new van. You pay a sum at the start and then monthly payments. The duration of the lease varies but is usually three or four years. At the end of the lease you simply return the van and arrange the lease for a new van.
So a crew van lease is a way to fund your new crew van. For details on how this works and the best crew van to suit your needs, just get in touch and we’ll be delighted to talk through the details with you.
